Stephanie Cortazzo (b. 1993, Cresskill, NJ) is an image-maker and collage artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has been exhibited in University galleries and project spaces throughout New Jersey, New York City and Brooklyn. In 2014, she was selected to present in Noyes Gallery’s annual group show at Stockton University and was recognized with Honorable Mention. She is the recipient of the Undergraduate Award of Excellence for her collage work exhibited at Mason Gross Galleries at Rutgers University.

Since receiving her BFA from Mason Gross School of The Arts (MGSA, Rutgers University), Cortazzo has been a featured member of the Brooklyn Collage Collective. She has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the International Center of Photography where she works with students in the General Studies & Continuing Education programs.

In 2019, Cortazzo independently curated Resurge, an interdisciplinary group exhibition celebrating women and non-binary artists through showcasing the professional developments of select alumni from MGSA. Most recently, Cortazzo has been chosen as a photography mentor with NYC Salt.

Her work has been featured in publications including Brokelyn, Feminist Wednesday, KALTBLUT and Cultbytes.
